Our OnlyFans Account Is Being Deleted — Here’s Why Transparency Matters for Creators

For about a month now, we’ve been dealing with ongoing issues regarding our OnlyFans account, including a sudden deletion notice with no clear explanation. Around October 5th, we received a notice claiming that we had “breached the acceptable use policy.” However, we never received an email explaining what that breach was or how it happened. Naturally, we reached out to customer support for clarification — and that’s where the trouble began.

Some Backstory

We’ve been active, compliant content creators on OnlyFans since 2021. From the start, our page has always been a couple’s account, something we made clear in our branding and content.

Initially, we started out with a free page to build our following and sold individual content. Our profile photo and header always featured both of us — and we never had any issues or rejections from OnlyFans about that setup. After one to two years, we transitioned into a paid page at $15/month, which went smoothly.

Later, we helped a friend who wanted to enter the explicit content space. We promoted her work for a while, and when she decided to close her account, we supported her decision. Unfortunately, we later realized we had forgotten to remove some of the old media she was tagged in. That’s when the “content removal” notices began — so we immediately cleaned up our page and removed all related content and links.

When Things Escalated

After cleaning up the page, we upgraded to a VIP-style page and raised the subscription to $20/month. That’s when everything went downhill.

We began receiving notices saying our profile picture was rejected because we supposedly didn’t “tag” the other creator — even though tagging isn’t possible in profile photos. Then came messages demanding re-verification of one of our participants, “Buttababejade,” even though she had already been verified for all joint content.

When we reached out, a representative named Ronaldo insisted that we needed to submit a release form for the “other participant.” After multiple attempts — and repeated rejections for reasons never previously mentioned — we ended up in an endless loop of verification requests and form submissions.

To be clear, OnlyFans’ own policy has always stated that content participants must either be verified or provide a signed release form. In our case, both were required — with no clear explanation why.

After two rejections, we received a major notice stating our account was in the process of being deleted.

What Creators Should Know About OnlyFans Account Deletions

Where We Stand Now

After roughly five separate attempts, Buttababejade was finally verified again. However, our account is still under review and potentially pending deletion — and it’s been over a week with no updates.

We’ve reached out multiple times to their Twitter (X) and Instagram accounts. The only response we’ve received was that our assigned rep would “handle the case.” Since then — radio silence.

Why We’re Sharing This

We’re writing this not to bash the platform, but to shed light on the lack of transparency and communication creators can experience when issues like this arise. In the meantime, while we wait for resolution, our subscriber count has dropped, income has paused, and new sign-ups are blocked — all with no clear explanation.
